Founded in 1949, the International Association of French Studies (AIEF) promotes the diffusion of the French language, literature, and culture. Bringing together researchers from all over the world, every year it organizes a conference, the proceedings of which are published in the Cahiers de l'Association internationale des etudes francaises (CAIEF).
