FearMidnight, a full moon shined bright as sunlight on the white sand around the house. “I can’t sleep,” Carol said, rolled out of bed, went to a window and looked out, “it’s like trying to sleep during the day.” She scanned the sand, searching for footprints, “I know I heard someone or something, but I don’t see any marks in the sand.”
