Résumé

This work is produced based on the author's thesis for obtaining the master's degree in Political Economy, which was awarded the distinction "Very Good". In recent years, there has been a particular interest in "Islamic finance", especially on the part of banks. But this interest is, above all, limited to the adaptation of banking products to the principles of the Islamic religion. The correct understanding of Islamic finance cannot be grasped without knowledge of the fundamental principles of "Islamic Economics", which are intimately linked and related. The book meets this need while addressing students, professors, economists, and financiers. It is a synthesis of economics in Islam; we discover the basic concepts, the rules of trade, the forms of companies, and the organisation of economic life with the study of an example, the city of Fez. However, despite the specialised content of the subject, the style adopted makes the book accessible to anyone wishing to know the principles of Islamic Economics.
